The Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission into undergraduate programs in Engineering, Medical, and Agriculture offered by colleges, universities, and institutions of the state. The Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BPOE), Jammu & Kashmir is the competent authority for conducting CET. The examination is administered in different city centers of Jammu and Kashmir. Both government and private institutions accept the score of CET for admission in to first year of undergraduate degree programs.
