JK PGMET 2012

JK PGMET 2012 - Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test administered by Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE). The PGMET score in the test is used for determining eligibility / merit of graduate medical students for admission into postgraduate medical / dental diploma /degree programs. On the basis of performance in PGMET admission offered in Graduate Degree / Diploma Courses in Medical / Dental Colleges situated in Jammu & Kashmir.

The Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) is the competent authority for conducting the test. The Entrance Examination is administered in different cities of Jammu and Kashmir. The duration of medical / dental degree programs are three years. And the duration of postgraduate diploma programs is two years.

JK PGMET 2012 Exam Dates

Applications are invited from candidates appearing for Common Entrance Test for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses in Government Medical Colleges of the State, SKIMS Srinagar and Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Jammu.

Entrance Test will be held on: Feb19, 2012
The Application Forms will be available on all working days from: Jan 01, 2012 to Jan 20, 2012 from the offices of the BOPEE
Application Forms can be submitted online through the website www.jakbopee.org from: Jan 06, 2012 to Jan 20, 2012

JK PGMET 2012 Application Form

PGMET aspirants can submit JK PGMET Application Form 2012 either online or offline according to convenience.

The application form with the Information Brochure will be available at the following offices of the Board against a fee of Rs. 1500/- to be paid in the shape of Bank Draft favouring FA/CAO, the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations and payable at
RCC, Jammu/Srinagar:

(i) Board Office, Bhagat-i-Barzullah, opp. J&K Bank, Barzullah, Srinagar-190005 (11am to 4 pm.)
(ii) Board Office, 4th Floor, South Block, Bahu Plaza Jammu-180012 (10 am to 3 pm.)

Note: The examination fee is non-refundable. If a candidate who applies for sitting in the Entrance Test is later found ineligible, cannot claim refund of the fee paid by him/her. Fee once paid shall not be refunded or reserved for next session in any case whatsoever reasons.

PGMET 2012 Examination Centres

The Entrance Test shall be held at the centres as may be specified by the Board in the cities of Srinagar and Jammu only.
Centres shall be allotted by the BOPEE and the information regarding this shall be provided to the candidates on the admit card.
The Centre of Examination once allotted shall not be changed under any circumstances.
